APPLE REPRISES iPAD AND iMAC LINE

Apple at its Special Event on October 16 2014 announced a refresh additions to the lines of iPad and the iMac lines. It also announced many software updates , to ease the users and the eagerly waiting fixes.Apple was expected to upgrade the Macbook line as it has not seen a major upgrade for many years.There were rumors that Apple would have drastic change in the iPad Mini as it was not seen any major changes.But Apple released in fact the iPad Air 2 as well as iPad Mini 3 and an iMac with a 5K Retina display and also Mac mini.

Apple announced the OS 8.1 which included the Apple Pay and much larger improvements and bug fixes to the iOS 8. It also features the removed camera roll feature and also iCloud photo library (beta).Apple also announced the OS X Yosemite which will be available free and also redesigned iWork for a much friendlier experience.

iPAD AIR 2

Apple had achieved a great milestone with the release of the iPad Air with the thinness and the lightness of the product.The Apple iPad Air 2 has the same height and width but the Air 2 is much more slimmer basically 18% thinner than the iPad Air , drastically from 7.5 mm to 6.1 mm thin.The iPad Air 2 is not just thin but a lot lighter , it weighs around 437 grams from the original 469 grams. iPad Air 2 is also the worlds thinnest tablet.

iPad Mini 3

Apple really disappointed us with the iPad Mini 3 , really not changing anything.We thought that Apple would come up with a major upgrade to the iPad Mini . The iPad Mini 3 is nothing different from the previous iPad Mini but just the touch ID sensor . We expected an A8 chip but again disappointing came with an older A7 chip.

Mac Mini

Mac Mini was not updated for quite some time, but Apple finally updated the Mac Mini also. Mac Mini now comes with a range of processors as well as storage spaces including the Fusion drive.Mac mini comes with Intel HD & Intel Iris graphics , and also comes with Tunderbold 2 for faster transfer .
