NEXUS 6 & NEXUS 9 : FIRST GLANCE
Google officially unveiled the next Nexuses , the Nexus 6 , the Nexus 9 and also a brand new Nexus Player.The rumors are finally over and mostly true , yess!! the Nexus 9 is made by HTC and Nexus 6 is made by Motorola. With that Google also revealed the official name of the next Android , calling it the Lollipop and will be available to all the Nexuses first shortly. Lollipop will feature the the fast charging , multiple account support as well as bluetooth lock which was not there in the developer preview.
Nexus 9
The Nexus 9 is the next in the tablet which was not updated for quite some time.Nexus 9 is made by HTC and will replace the Nexus 7 as well as the Nexus 10.Nexus 9 has a 8.9 inch screen which is between both the Nexus and will try to replace both of them.Nexus 9 has a 64 bit Nvidia Tegra K1 which is the same as Nvidia Shield.Shield handled very well and we hope the Nexus also does the same.Nexus 9 will feature a 2 GB RAM and storage option of 16 & 32 GB variants.
Nexus 9 will feature an 8 MP main camera with flash and also a 1.6 MP front- camera for video calling.Nexus 9 will be juiced by a 6700 mAh battery and will get the HTC touch by the dual front facing speakers with Boomsound.
We hope that with the Nexus 9 64 bit processor handles well with the Android Lollipop as it has been optimized for 64 bit processors and should perform really well. Nexus 9 will get Lollipop out of box.The device looks great with the HTC design. Competing with the iPad and Surface , this looks to be serious competition.
Nexus 6
The Nexus 6 is basically a Moto X blown up , and Nexus 6 is close to the LEAK and rumors that was out. Nexus 6 really blows the hardware specifications , it features a 6 inch Quad HD AMOLED display . Nexus 6 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU as well as Adreno 420 GPU. Nexus 6 will come with 32 & 64 GB variants .
Nexus 6 will have an 13 MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) and the dual ring flash as the Moto X.The front camera is of 2 MP and will feature HD recording.Nexus 6 will have an 3220 mAh battery and as the same design as Moto X and the front speaker also.
Nexus 6 will surely have a dimple of Motorola on it's back.
Nexus 6 will come with Lollipop out of the box. Surprisingly the Moto X is of the same size of the iPhone 6 ,even having a bigger display. Looking at it the phone it should have a good build quality , but here's the catch the Nexus will be priced at $649 (off contract). Typically not the Nexus price compared to previous versions but the hardware in it is far more advanced . It is in direct competition with the Note 4 as well as iPhone 6 .
