Now-day's anything is becoming smart day by day , you name it and a smart version of that product is out in the market.People really want their every thing what they use to do more than the usual thing and add more easiness into their everyday life.As more and more functionality will come to the products more the IOT (Internet of Things) concept seems to becoming true rapidly. Now it seems that it's the time for even the humble water bottle to up its smarts.
Hydra ,the smart-bottle that brings up a new category in the market that is,the competition of smart-bottles.Hydra is multi-functionality bottle that has quite a few tricks under it's compact shape. To, get things started there's a speaker in the lid,so basically the lid of the bottle is a speaker. You can play your tunes via Bluetooth with the speaker attached, or you can pop it off, extend the legs and rock out.But the maker's say that when the lid is on ,it improves the sound because then the music can bounce off.The speaker also has its own auxiliary output jack, as well as a Micro-USB port for charging.
The second thing that , I love about the Hydra is that it has inbuilt LED light's embedded in the bottom. When the bottle is full of water and you switch it on, the entire thing glows in a range of colors, helping you be visible while cycling or walking at night. So it can be used as a night lamp or a lamp for the evening picnic spot.As the campaign ad focuses on cyclist , it is seen as how fascinating it would be for them.
The bottom of the bottle holds a couple of other surprises. There's a 4,000 mAh power bank, which should be good for juicing up an average smartphone about twice, as well as a hidden storage compartment where you can store small valuable things. So what else ? , there's also a microphone at the bottom of the bottle , so it can be doubled as a speakerphone.Oh, and there's also a carabiner clip that doubles as a bottle opener.
But wait there's more, the company also has an app for Hydra , in order to have more control over it. So the app let's the consumer to use the Hydra as a nightlight and will also fade the light and play smoothing sounds of your choice. However the kick-start program on Indiegogo is still in demand , so you can order a Hydra Bottle for $30 -- which these days is cost of just decent speaker and here you are getting a full fledged multi-function bottle.
Samsung at it's event on 13th of this month unveiled it's next Note and also an increment to the Galaxy Edge S6. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the most sellekest and powerful Note yet , but it's by far more elegant also. On the other hand the S6 increment , the S6 Edge + is just a phablet version of S6 Edge. Both the specs of the Note 5 and the S6 Edge + are exactly the same.
Both have a Samsung's octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (if you must know, four cores run at up
to 2.1GHz while the others go up to 1.5GHz) along with 4GB of RAM. With this bit of hardware , the phone didn't slow or slag a bit , in spite of the Samsung's TouchWiz skin on top of it. If you have had an experience with the S6 or S6 Edge, then the latest TouchWiz by Samsung will really impress you as far as performance goes.
Both also have a 16 megapixel camera sensor with f/1.9 & OIS , which have capability of live streaming to YouTube directly. The camera of the previous galaxy was one of the top in the flagship's , now having the same sensor, will it perform alike or better ? . We will have to see till we get a full review of both these phablets. Both have a 5.7-inch, Quad HD, Super AMOLED 2560 X 1440 screens , which perform as crisp as display would have for this screen size. The picture is clear and bright and gives a great quality of video viewing. For better viewing the juice comes from a sealed 3,000mAh battery, which is not the best part. As the previous generation Note had a bigger battery with a decent amount of running time. Both the phones have fast wireless charging and fast charging , NFC and LTE category 9 connectivity.
Notes always seemed a little too cumbersome for practical
use, but the Galaxy Note 5 is the first Note I've picked up in ages that
doesn't feel broad and awkward to hold. The Note 5 back is like a S6 Edge front side, the back as two curved edges for better gripping. But in fact the glass like back is kind of slippery and it's feel's quite afraid to hold it. But the best part is the size of the Note 5 is not changed , in fact it just as similar to Note 4 but making it more thinner and the less bezels.
That and all sealed part is a little prick to some consumers and to some not.
The Note's claim to fame has always been the S Pen, a seemingly gimmicky
stylus that tucks away in the phone's bottom edge. This year, though,
we've got a slightly redesigned version; it's a clicky affair that lends
itself well to nervous pushing, and you'll use that mechanism to unlock
the pen before you pull it out of its slot.Besides the clicky segment, the Pen feels a touch more solid and sturdy despite its light weight. However the Note 5 has more features with the S pen now.
First and the best thing of the new Note 5 is that you no longer have to fire up and unlock the Note to start jotting things down.Instead, you can just start writing on the screen while the phone is on
standby. Once the Note 5 detects the S Pen writhing around on its
surface, it'll automatically start a subtle Instant Memo mode that takes
whatever you're writing or doodling and funnels it straight into S
Note. It's one of those intelligent little niceties that makes the S Pen
seem immediately more useful. And the next are a few mods in the software by software, one of them is that you can now take long screenshots one after another of the same webpage or document.
On the other hand the S6 Edge + is just a screen size increment over the S6 Edge. This has also has all the features changed in the software. One of them is that now the edge has more functionality than the previous version which had edges. Now you can not only access quick people but also a swipe will let you access quick apps from the edge. Now you can choose between the people and apps which you want to have in the edge. It's more like a quick launcher for the apps and people.
In all the both phones have great specs and software's built in , but are not perfect. Like there's no expandable memory slot in case the 32GB or 64GB options just
aren't spacious enough, and most of the tweaks and changes we've seen
here won't be game changers for plenty of people.Still, the blend of handsomely crafted hardware, a great screen and way
to use the S Pen almost immediately make the Note 5 the most impressive. On the S6 Edge + no far improvement i but looks like just an add on for people who want a bigger S6 Edge. The US carriers have announced their pricing, and you're typically
looking at $250 on contract for the 32GB model, and $350 for its 64GB
sibling. The review of both these phones are still in development, so stay tuned for a full review.
The war in the smartphones is going up day by day.Especially when it comes to the budget region , the consumer's want all the features in all in one device and also should offer a great price. The competition is increasing day by day and one of the key players in this segment is Motorola. With the initial release of Moto G , the phone made a huge success in the market. And again with the second release , the company had a the same reactions. Now with the 3rd Generation of Moto G , it looks like it's increasing the bar for every company day by day. Can this Motorola G keep the way the promises it's predecessors have kept till date ? Hardware :
Now we didn't have such complains with the Moto G design since the first Moto G was released. We're still looking at the same curves, and the same chrome accents that actually look like dual front-facing speakers. So the new Moto G does not have notification led as the previous gen's had , but in fact the screen is the replacement for this. Moto G is not an AMOLED screen but has active screen feature just like the live screen in flagship's.
The Moto G 3rd Gen is a 142.1 X 72.4 mm phone dimensions which the phone is weighing around 155 grams. The phone with the plastic body is still rigid and maintains the same quality as the previous generations. The new Moto G has a a crome painted plastic side lines to enhance the look , but merely impressive.
This time, though, Motorola took that textured finish and applied it to
the entirety of the G's removable backplate. The sides are still as
sparse as ever -- there's a textured power button and a volume rocker on
the right edge -- so the phone isn't actually much easier to grasp than
earlier models. The design in all is much inspired from Moto X and the Nexus 6 and has same guidlines like the authentic Motorola. the back has the same 'dimple' like the Moto X.Regardless of the design and body , the new Moto G's
body is waterproof for up to 30 minutes as long as it's in less than a
meter of water, which is a rarity for a phone at this price point.
Camera :
The new Moto G has basically plucked the same 13-megapixel sensor from Nexus 6,
kept the f/2.0 aperture lens and added some additional IR-filtering
coatings. The result is a camera experience that's leagues ahead of last
year's model. Colors are bright and natural-looking, especially with
ample light, and my test shots are crisp and detailed.
The actual process of shooting a photo is as straightforward as it's
always been, which basically means there's zero delay between launching
the camera app and snapping away. In case you haven't experienced Moto's
approach before, there's barely anything on screen when you're taking a
photo: One touch on the display captures an image, and holding your
finger down takes a series of them. This dead-simple system works nicely
until you actually decide you need some control over things, at which
point a quick swipe left from the screen's edge brings up your options.
Just don't expect a full manual mode. The best you can do is fire up
HDR, or toggle the super-useful exposure and focus controls. In simple words the camera quality pretty okay once you know the price point of the phone.
Flipping the camera into video mode reveals that the 1080p video quality
is fairly mediocre; there's not a lot of detail to be seen and colors
appear bland even in generous lighting. The 5-megapixel camera up front
doesn't aspire to much, and churns out adequate, if unexciting, shots. The front makes the picture not so good , but can fit a good amount of people in it. Performance :
This year Moto G uses one of Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 410
chips, with the CPU cores clocked at 1.4GHz and an Adreno 306 GPU. That
doesn't seem like a huge lift in horsepower compared to the 2014 edition
(quick refresher: a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 and an Adreno 305 GPU).
The new Moto G comes in two variants -- the 8GB ROM with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM with 2 GB RAM.
We tested the 2GB version and the performance was smooth , the new Moto G handeled all the videos and audio's well. The multitasking was a charm and the Moto G is quite fast in this section with the pure Android experience. No lag was seen when playing FIFA 15 and all high end games. The device showed true performance and when comparing with the previous generation the Moto G 3rd Generation took a better and a nice leap.
Battery :
Now, how about that battery? It's a little sad that it took Motorola
this long to increase the capacity of the G's battery, but whatever:
This year we've got a comparatively spacious 2,470mAh battery to work
with. The new Moto G comes around at 10 hours of battery juice , which is on par with most of the flagship 's like the Moto X or even the HTC One M9.
That's a big, big increase over the second-gen Moto G too; that device
only managed seven hours and 38 minutes. If
your daily workload is lighter than mine, you'll find the G is capable
of lasting even longer -- I'd often get a day and a half of use if I
saved most of my communication for my computer instead. This is the biggest improvement and also the biggest feature of the new Moto G which makes it a much more buyable phone.
Display & Sound :
When it comes to crafting a low-cost phone, you have to cut corners
somewhere. For Motorola, that "somewhere" often winds up being the
screen -- that's why after nearly two years we're still looking at a
720p display on a brand-new smartphone. It sports a 5-inch, 720p screen (the same size and resolution as last year),
with a sheet of Gorilla Glass 3 providing some extra protection .Still, colors are bright and nicely saturated without appearing lurid,
and they seem a touch more accurate than on last year's model. This display is one of the brighter ones I've seen on a budget smartphone, and it easily outshines the 2014 Moto G
The G's viewing angles are none too shabby either, even if the backlight
gives things a milky cast when you hold the phone just right.
Coincidentally, my biggest problem had to do with turning the screen to
view it at an angle; the plain white of the app launcher or a web page
can look gritty when viewed.
On the front it has a single bar type speaker which is similar to the previous generations.t struggled to give deep, bassy tunes their needed oomph, but mids and
highs came through with vigor, although the resulting sound to be average. The speaker is just an okay - okay and again considering the cost it seems damn good.
Wrap Up :
Last year, the then-new Moto G was "still the best budget smartphone" around. the next Moto G is leading the same path. This time this new Moto G faces more heavier competition from other phone manufactures, but keeping that it may not be worn out soon . The new Moto G is going to stay as a budget winner till date. The new Moto G has all the features you would want in a $ 189 phone.Motorola had to make plenty of compromises to be able to sell this thing
as cheaply as it is. Motorola's real gift is in making the G feel more
powerful, more elegant than it really is, and that's worth the asking
price.
Exactly a year ago, One Plus made a debut of its smartphone , the One Plus one at $299 for the geeks. But in fact it took off, with becoming known as a flagship killer. The price took a low down at $249, that in course of the new successor was going to be launched, the One Plus Two.
Let's see a quick look ?
On the surface, the OnePlus Two is very similar to its predecessor. It’s
still the same 5.5-inch device, but the body material is significantly
nicer this time — most of the frame is made of aluminum, but the back
keeps the textured, grippy material featured on last year’s phone.
When looking at the specifications , the One Plus Two as said has a 5.5 inch of screen size with full HD 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and supporting it is Adreno 430 GPU. Storage options include : a 16GB of storage with 3GB of RAM or 64GB of storage with 4GB of RAM. It has a 13-megapixel back-facing camera with optical image
stabilization, while the front camera lets you shoot selfies at 5
megapixels. That back camera also includes a two-tone flash and a laser
focusing system.
However the specs are quite similar to the predecessor and the price tag also similar. There is also quite some hardware improvements like the USB C Type and the Fingerprint scanner. As USB C is slowly being adapted in the smartphone and laptop , One Plus would be one of the initial company to do so. The Fingerprint scanner is situated at the home button , which in fact is most ideal place for any smartphone to do it. The fingerprint scanner is fast and after a few iterations initially the scanner becomes quite smooth. However it does not have a Android M but the fingerprint scanner support is included in the custom rom , the Oxygen OS.
In all the One Plus 2 is a good successor to the the One Plus One. While most of these specs are pretty standard fare for a high-end
smartphone, the price remains anything but: the 16GB model will retail
for $329, while the 64GB version will go for $389.
