The Lumia lineup is a whole range for the user's ranging from low-end to high-end. Lumia have also phablet in their series , the Lumia 1520 and the Lumia 1320. Both the models have done reasonably in the Lumia smart-phones line-up.The Lumia 1330 might be the new successor to the Lumia 1320.
According to the photo uploaded by @staguevue on twitter , the phone is said to be the Lumia 1330. The phone is expected to support a 5.7 inch (720 X 1280 pixels) display. The 1320 supported the same display but was 0.3 inch bigger than this. The leak ed image also further leaks that the phone might have 1GB of RAM. Further the 1330 is about to feature a Snapdragon 400 Quad Core SOC. Which is an upgrade from the original Lumia 1320's Dual Core SOC.
The image also hints to the image part of the phone. The 1330 may support a Carl Zeiss optics 14 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera . Which is a big bump from a 1320 which comprised of a 5 MP rear and 0.3 MP front.Though there hasn't been a confirmation by Microsoft .
While the launch date, availability or the price details of the 1330 are not yet known, Microsoft may introduce at the upcoming CES 2015 event or during the MWC 2015 in February. We believe that this might be the second phone under the Microsoft Lumia brand after the Lumia 535.
Power-banks are really a great accessory these days for the smart-phones.They have been on a rise when the battery life of the phones are not satisfying or adequate for the users. Power-banks are on a rise of sales by companies providing each of their own variant. While iPhone lovers have to settle by other companies for their power-banks. Power-banks usually are just a plastic case battery pack which just boost your phone till you get to a charger.Well this power-bank is unique , let's see why?
iPac-Man is a power-bank for iPhone but the Pac-Man in the name is for the game pad designed at the back. iPac-Man has a fully functional game pad which connects to the iPhone via Bluetooth. The iPac -Man works for both the iPhone as well as the iPad. iPac-Man has box style design to it and has good side finishing to it.The corners are rounded just so that the gamer's don't feel tension to their hands.
iPac-Man power-bank has a 6000mAh battery in it , to support the extra juice when you need. The iPac-Man has basic fire-wire to USB connecting port to connect it to the devices. Moreover it can charge two devices simultaneously saving you more time. The length of the wire is a 23m of length and is a good feature.
iPac-Man is not only a power bank but the selling point is the Game pad.It is connected to Apple's iPad or iPhone by the Bluetooth. The Game pad feels smooth and is fully functional. The game pad has all the buttons and the joystick is quite responsive . The buttons also respond quite well and clicky which is good sound in all.The company also provides a special mount for iPhone so that the iPhone and the game pad are one above the another and simpler in holding.
iPac-Man for $49 is a great powerhouse in itself. For $49 a portable power bank as well as fully functional game pad is a steal. With a few dollars extra you can add extra mounting to help you more in playing all the games.the company also offers a VIP product which has a higher 8200mAh battery and the same game pad. The company is offering the product only through Indiegogo campaign . IN all a different approach and a reason to buy a power bank for consumers.
Microsoft Garage a whole new side desk adventure by Microsoft to create new ideas.Google might not develop for Windows but Microsoft takes interest . Microsoft Garage is a chance to for outsiders to see what Microsoft employees create inside the company during the free time. The projects varies from Windows to iOS and even Android. Let's look at some of them.
NEXT LOCKSCREEN
With Next Lockscreen Microsoft takes a better way at the standard Android lockscreen. It is available on Google Play for free download. It sticks around Microsoft's new principle which focus more on productivity.Microsoft saying it is a time saver and built for the "busy people". The lockscreen is quite impressive from others available in the market. The lockscreen lets you see the information that's relevant to you and directly access it. Your calendar appointments are also listed and you can alter it .The lockscreen also let's you directly swipe and call and get instant access to the apps.
Quick app launch within Next Lock Screen isquite similar like an iOS Control Center. You can pin your favorite apps and tools to it to quickly toggle Wi-Fi or a flashlight and launch any apps from the lock screen. There are separate sections for work, home, and on the go, providing a little bit of flexibility for different locations .
JOURNEY & NOTES
It is designed as a way to keep a log of your travel history.Quite similar to Foursquare , it allows you to access tips from fellow travelers and friends who have traveled the same route as you or might be going. It is more like a new social app but a travel social app which leaves your memories on-route.
TORQUE
How come Android Wear be left behind in all this innovation. But this one can be considered as a copy. The Microsoft Torque app aims to replace your "Ok Google" default function in the Android Wear. Once activated it performs like a normally but does a Bing search instead. It's basically a cheap replica of Google search engine on Android Wear. The Torque can also be activated from phone and does quite similar feature like on the smartwatch.Just a good thing about Torque is that you don't have to shout "Ok Google" on your watch everytime.
TETRA LOCKSCREEN
In Tetra lockscreen you can view the upcoming calendar events, your current location on a street map.It even has an activity tracker, for SensorCore enabled device, which give users the ability to track their steps, distance or approximate number of calories burned.
Here's a list of features Tetra Lockscreen has to offer:
Agenda
Displays upcoming calendar events
Visualizes the pace of your day with a simple timeline
Current Location
Shows your current location on a street map
Displays nearby calendar events with identifiable locations
Pan and zoom in the top area of the screen, the bottom is reserved for unlocking
Activity Tracker
Displays activity in steps, distance or approximate number of calories burned
Compare by hour in the daily view, or by day in the weekly view
Stopwatch
Keeps time even when your screen is off
Lap functionality
It's worth mentioning that Activity Tracker doesn't work with all Windows Phone devices, but only those which comes with Nokia SensorCore. The App is free downloadable on Windows Store and is available in select countries.
Chromebooks have come from a long time in the market but we can see that steadily the growth in this category has also started.Chromebook has come a long way by constant upgrading by Google this lite OS laptops have really got their attention.Well this is threatening to the Windows OS because the rookie computer user has a alternative option.Chromebooks main features are light , faster booting and a free OS.Let's see if HP Stream can avail on these points and also make a mark.
HARDWARE
When you see the HP Stream 11 it looks like a netbook. It is small , light and plastic covering it all . The small fanless machine weighs around 2.74 pounds with plain plastic shell. One of the most stylish netbook ever seen!.But saying that this is a fanless machine which quite surprises me.HP has done a great job in designing this product and also has found optimum results.Stream 11 includes two USB connections (one 3.0, one 2.0), a full-sized HDMI
socket, a full-sized SD card reader and a combination headphone/mic
jack.
HP Stream 11 comes with 11 inch 1,366 x 768 non-touch display, with a healthy amount of bezel. The resolution of the display is no doubt to be complained off. However it does have some glitches ,the viewing angles are fairly narrow, especially from head-on. The colors tend to
wash out when trying to crank up the brightness, but even on a more
medium setting, everything looks dull and muted. This is really an issue to look for in the product.
But the good part is that sound quality is far good than expected. The speakers even though located at the bottom side , give a loud volume. The DTS Studio Sound has really enhanced the quality of the sound . Even when placed on the lap or even on the flat surface , the sound does not change. The keyboard also adding in to the positive side , as expected from HP.The machine despite is 11.6 inch , the keyboard is nearly full sized . The keys are well spaced in between two keys and has a decent size. The touch pad is quite responsive using multiple gesture but the single finger usage was sluggish and gets unresponsive at times . This may be a software glitch which can be fixed over timely updates.
HP Stream 11 is powered by a Intel Celeron N2840 with in-built Intel HD Graphics. The processor has 1 MB cache and has dual cores . The Stream is supported with 2 GB RAM and has built in storage for 32 GB eMMC .The OS takes up time during booting, it's a greater time for normal boot. The Windows OS takes time unlike the Chrome OS. The specality of Chrome OS is that it's a extremely light OS so takes the minimum time to boot , but windows is known for slow booting even in the past. The battery is a 3 cell 37 Wh Li-ion battery which will give you up to 8 hrs of battery life.
The battery last as long as the company states under normal usage but lower usage may increase battery time.
SOFTWARE
Surprisingly the HP Stream 11 features a full fledged Windows 8.1 out of the box.We thought that the Stream would come with a tear-down version of Windows. It comes with a Windows 8.1 with Bing as the default search engine. The HP Stream 11 has got an additional 1 TB of One drive storage. Not only that but it has along with it a one-year Office 365 Personal included.Microsoft also gives a $25 gift-card from the Microsoft store.
HP Stream 11 also has default HP apps for more connectivity and compatibility with other HP products. The Stream also comes with a third party apps like TripAdvisor , Skype and also Netflix as default.Stream also comes with McAfee trial Life Safe product.Speaking of Windows it's always had more productivity options than Chromebooks.
WRAP UP
For a full fledged Windows 8 PC for only $199 is a grab on.The fact that Windows laptops can run desktop apps means they're better than Chromebooks, regardless
of the price. The Stream 11 also comparatively much less pricier than most of the Chromebooks. The Stream also comes with a Stream 13 having same specs at $229 and a Stream 14 slightly varying at $299.
The HP Stream does have some compromises. The display lacks in the quality like other Chromebooks , although it has similar specs as usual Chromebooks and the pricing is same , there is difference in performance. The Stream takes more time to boot-up and the battery life is much less. For a fully smoothly functioning of Windows it does need more power than the hardware provided.
The Stream does provide with full fledged desktop apps, which is a must for productivity of offline usage. The negative part of Chromebooks is that you need a full time connected internet but that is surpassed in the Windows version. For this low price it has bright and playful design . the keyboard is really worked up and gives a good typing experience. With all the freebies included more than offered with normal Chromebooks.
At $199 , the Stream 11 is a good deal, comparing it with major Chromebooks which are more pricier. It comes with some compromises but if you are willing to give it off the HP Stream 11 is grab on .Only time will tell if the Chrome OS would be as efficient as Windows ?

Alienware Alpa whole new generation creating the ease for gamer's. Alpha is made on the concept of both the PC and the console. Alienware Alpha is a "PC console" , giving you the ease of PC functionality and the compatibility of easy gaming from consoles. While it came from the most talked Steam Machine concept but Dell came head out with the product first.
The Alienware Alpha is simple, small black box that won't draw an iota of attention. The machine's power button is formed in the shape of the signature Alienware logo and one of the machine's front corners is bisected at a sharp angle. An LED glows around the perimeter of the cut.
There are only two USB ports lingering on the device's front, but find two more on the machine's back edge. The compartment is large enough to conceal most wireless mouse and keyboard dongles it's far too small to contain the Alpha's included wireless Xbox 360 Controller adapter. The usual assortment of ports fills out the back: HDMI, Ethernet, power and even an optical audio output, though you can find a second HDMI socket as well. That's actually an HDMI passthrough input that can be activated through the Alpha's menu system. Basically, it lets you pipe another device in your entertainment center through Alienware's unit to save space on TV inputs.
Basically running on Windows 8.1 but Alpha has it's own custom UI . Alpha UI has a simpler interface which has steam big picture and an option to choose to connect the mouse and keyboard. When connecting both the mouse and keyboard the Alpha fully transforms itself into a full fledged PC .Which no other console has that compatibility . The console comes with gaming titles more than 3000+ on the steam store but when you try to install an old game it really makes you work through.Alpha's built-in mouse emulation is the killer feature here. It's more than a simple thumbstick-to-cursor mapping.Alpha's built-in mouse emulation is the killer feature here. It's more than a simple thumbstick-to-cursor mapping
Alienware Alpha has got it's graphics performance from the Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M GPU. The Alpha is ranged from Core i3 to Core i7 ranging from $549 to $899. The hard drive space also ranging from 500 GB to 2 TB.The Alpha also topped the other budget systems on the 3DMark Cloud Gate and 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme tests.
Overall, the Alienware Alpha gaming PC shows
some promise. Its performance is top notch for the price, .However, as an overall gaming system, Steam Big
Picture and the Alienware UI overlay both seem like placeholders for
future UI improvements, and the non-upgradable GPU will be a turn-off
for longtime gamers.
The Alienware Alpha makes a great start in the whole new generation of PC consoles. The Alienware Alpha is a good black box packing with whole new hardware specs. The game play is that of the standard of console's.'s not quite user-friendly enough for the average console gamer, but
it's still too limiting and simple to satisfy most PC gamers. It's too early to invest in this console having the tried and tested console at proper mark in the marker. In all the Alpha is a good head start program.
Embrace a new medical life saver for you.Embrace is just like a watch but can track your health with it's advanced innovations.Embrace is just like your smart-watch but which just monitors your health. Embrace is stylish looking watch which has metal case wrapped around leather straps.
Embrace is a medical quality device to monitor and better understand your behavior. Embrace is the thinnest among it's class ever made.
Embrace is quite a unique concept which can monitor and understand better your behavior using it again and again.Embrace is developed in the MIT labs and futher funded by many organizations. the main idea around which Embrace is developed is to bring a better lifestyle to people that live with Epilepsy: they get an alert when an unusual event happens, like a convulsive seizure, warning them and their loved ones. Not only that Embrace also can check your entire day in a glance in a way that is easy to understand. Not only during exercise, but also at work, during your commute, during the night. If you push yourself too much, the Embrace will gently remind you with a vibration, that you need some time to recover. You can also customize it to suit your needs and behavior. It helps you to adapt a better lifestyle.
To understand better ; When Epilepsy people wear Embrace, they will get an alert when an unusual event happens, like a convulsive seizure. These alerts will be received on smartphone to parents, roommates or anybody who can check on them. If a person wears a ‘companion’ Embrace , it has additional feature like if the two Embraces are within some specified range the ‘companion’ Embrace worn by the person will vibrate to alert them and save a person.
It has a Electrodermal sensors which help Embrace to understand your behavior. Electrodermal activity, or EDA, is autonomic data that is activated by regions deep in the brain involved in emotions such as fear, anxiety, and positive excitement. It is strongly activated during the kinds of seizures that involve a region of the brain that has been shown to shut down breathing.
Embrace will come with two apps:
(1) Empatica Mate : Basically personal stress, sleep, and activity feedback. Empatica Mate also comes with a diary for understanding better your daily life.
(2) Empatica Alert : an event detector for people with Epilepsy.
Empatica Mate : This app will provide you with customized insights on your behavior. You can set up Embrace to vibrate when you reach a certain level that you want to monitor. For example, you can set it to vibrate gently when your body’s stress level is climbing, before it gets too high, while you can still have a positive response.
Empatica Alert : This will be able to monitor events that might be a convulsive seizure, and get an alert that will go both to the wearer (where it can be silenced if needed) and to selected family members or friends who can bring help.
Embrace comes in two sizes a normal one and a small one for the kids. It also has a variety of colors of leather straps. Though it's not a smart watch it is building it's own segment.Even when we see the smart watch we feel uncomfortable , as not used to it, but carrying another device to track is pain.It would be necessary for some patients but for a normal person it feels another gadget attached to the body. If Embrace would be a combination of both medical-smart watch it would be a different ball game.In all the device is a great take on it's concepts.
WOULD YOU BUY ONE OR WAIT FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS ALL FEATURES IN IT?
The Nexus line always come up with the surprise during this time of the year .Launching new hardware's and software's for the advancement of the Android future. The Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) and also the Nexus 10 were major hit in the tablet world. This time Google replacing both of the tablets and finding a middle way out , the Nexus 9 is the new addition to the Nexus.Nexus 9 is developed by HTC and as it is Nexus got the back of Google.
The Nexus 9 as it is developed by HTC it follows somewhat of the design principles of the company. The Nexus 9 is just 8mm thick and weighs around 230g , which makes it quite handy. It has the same plastic design as it's predecessor. The metal band around the whole device is quite nice and adds the build quality of the device. As coming from HTC we hoped it would come with a great built quality but the tablet disappointed us ,but it isn't that bad. The tablet is lightweight and also very comfortable to hold all day.The back of the tablet can look ugly , due to fingerprint impressions.
The Nexus 9 as you might have guessed is a 9 inch tablet (8.9 inch to be precise) IPS display. The LCD display is a QXGA with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and also Corning Gorilla Glass 3.The display has an aspect ratio of 4:3 which is quite disturbing when watching videos as you can see the black patch on both side of screen. While games are scale-able and no problems in that mode. The display also has double tap to wake feature which can be handy at times. The display in broad day is not that visible and is having problems under direct sunlight. Rest all the display looks good by its specifications.
The Nexus 9 gets its power from a NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver which is clocked at 2.3 GHz and is of 64-bit architecture . The processor is supported by 2 GB of RAM and is available in two variants one 16 GB and the second being the 32 GB one.Lollipop does support 64 bit and the transition feels quite smooth. The tablet is pure gaming monster and handles every game with ease. The tablet does tend to warm up during heavy usage but hold able in hand.
Nexus 9 has an 8 MP rear camera for taking photos with a f/2.4 aperture and LED flash to accompany it. Frankly this camera was not built to take photographs of the quality you would expect. Though the specifications speak differently but not worthy. For the video calling Nexus 9 comes with a 1.6 MP front camera and has an average performance. Nexus 9 comes with a dual front speakers , having BoomSound has great audible quality. Even iPad or previous Nexus had not positioned the speakers well but dual front speakers are really take on the audio.
Nexus 9 get all it's juice from a 6700 mAh battery in built in the tablet. The battery performances also disappoint a lot as it can not pass through an entire day. Power usage can be expected to give around 5 hrs of battery life . Lollipop is the main selling point of the tablet as it is an out of box Android 5.0 and the blend with the hardware and software feels seamless.Although all apps are not yet optimized for 64 bit but the apps that are are fluid on the device. The whole idea behind lollipop is a simpler interface.
Nexus 9 is priced around at $400 for the 16 GB version .The Nexus 9 is not an all out great product and not even the hardware is the top of the line but the software might be the selling point of the tablet. For $400 the tablet does not have a chance until and unless you want an stock Android. The iPad mini with retina display has better built quality and even the Nvidia Sheild at $300 can be considered as an alternative. But Nexus 9 is for those who want an pure stock Android and who really cares for the latest version of Android.Overall a good tablet but priced a little high.
WILL THE 9 BE A HIT LIKE ALL THE NEXUS TABLETS ?
