 Cortana :

   
         Cortana was released as a beta release only for US customers.While other customers would have to change their location and region to US to access Cortana . Microsoft has widen Cortana to UK and China as a Beta version . India ,Canada and Australia will have Cortana released as an Alpha version.
Cortana has now improved by improving natural language recognition as well as car kit integration.

Live Folders :

      Like live tiles now you can have live folders which are quite handy and can keep you organised. Like android you can simply drag and drop one tile to another to create a new folder.to rename just tap on the field on the folder.

Apps Corner :

           
       Just like Kid's corner you can create a customized start screen , where only specific games and apps can be accessed.This could be great if you are issuing Windows phone in the workplace to employees.

SMS , Snooze , IE and  Store :

       
              With the new update now you can can merge Sms as well as select multiple messages to do the foward , delete as well as copy into a new message.Now you can set the amount of snooze time as per your requirement. IE has also improved in Windows phone with more faster browsing options as well as improving the download speeds.The Store has a Live tile to show you the customized apps for you on the Start Screen.

FOR THE LUMIA :

   Nokia Camera Ohh wait Lumia Camera :           

              Nokia Camera as been removed and changed to Lumia camera which more better and fast as well as more intuitive allowing to have a good camera experience. Lumia camera is more faster , it only take milliseconds going from shot to shot.With improved image processing algorithms for a much natural pictures as well as brighter images even in low-light.

MOMENT CAPTURE :

           This is an amazing feature which allows you take any image from the video.Shoot a video in 4K-quality at 24 fps  by pressing the camera button for a long time.You can save each frame as an high quality image.

RICH CAPTURE :

             Auto-HDR and Dynamic flash are now there in Lumia camera. The best feature is that shoot the image first and then change the settings.With Dynamic flash you can change the flash setting after the image has been clicked , by changing the flash light brightness on the subject you can alter images to a greater experience.

   "Hey Cortana "

             Just like Moto X you can say "Hey Cortana" when the screen is idle and activate the Cortana without pressing the microphone button.This is possible  due to the Sensor Core Technology to achieve this.

 Glance Screen :

             Lumia's with Glance screen now can even show the Bing weather and Bing Fitness in addition to the time ,date , notifications and application data .

While Lumia Denim update will be available in Q4 2014 , for most off the devices.Lumia features will be available in only phones which have that hardware for specific features.While majority of this have been in Android or iOS for a good time , but for Lumia users it means a lot. As Windows phone is growing at much smaller pace but frequent updates can bridge the gap between the operating systems.As Windows 10 is a long way we can except few major upgrades.
