WINDOWS 10
Microsoft unveiled its forth coming windows calling it the Windows 10 , there has been quite some time Microsoft has not released a new version of Windows . While Apple has been doing regular updates very year and that too free.Windows is the most widely used desktop OS and has been growing ever since. While the Windows 8 was not well received by consumers and power users.This is just Technical preview and Microsoft will be distributing to the all its fans to help them achieve a better OS with the help of feedback given by users.
Microsoft will be having a Windows 10 "Insider Program" for all who want to download the preview. Microsoft 10 will be a mixture of the Windows 7 as well as windows 8 . The ease of use of 7 as well as the touch capabilities of 8. Microsoft's Joe Belfiore pointed to the millions of customers still using Windows 7, and said the company wants to make their transition to Windows 10 much more comfortable than the unfamiliar leap to Windows 8 two years ago
So why call it the Windows 10 ? When asked it came with a reply that Windows 10 is a telsa to the Windows 7 prius. Windows 10 will be clear once you use the OS for some time . But definitely putting a cross to all rumored names and also the famous Windows 9.
WHATS NEW :
START MENU :
The famous start menu is back which all the Windows users were waiting for a long time.But it is redesigned with making live tiles in start menu as well.You can now search from the start-menu as well which is now has internet integration also.
WINDOWED :
Microsoft kept the windows 8 full size concept aside and made the apps in a smaller window.Like the windows 7 now you can move the apps as well as the title bar now has the minimize ,close and maximize the apps.
SNAP :
The Snap UI just got a lot better , while you can do it same like windows 8 but now adding more that is you can add up to 4 apps snapped in a single screen.With the quadrant design it can also make smart suggestions on the empty screen available.
TASK VIEW WINDOW & MULTIPLE DESKTOPS :
There is a new task view button which allows you easily to switch between apps and open files quickly, giving you also quick accessibility to desktops you created.
Create desktops for different purposes and projects and switch between these desktops easily and pick up where you left off on each desktop.Same as our leak.
COMMAND PROMPT :
Finally now you can Ctrl + V on the command prompt.
While this is only the Technical preview as the consumer oriented is still a year away , we would like to see more features as well as more functionality for power users.Microsoft saying that this would be great OS for the enterprise , we hope it would add some benefits to it.While Microsoft stating that Windows 10 will be an OS for all that is phones, tablets as well as desktops.Screens ranging from 4 inch- 80 inch will be compatible.While some features are already out in the market on OS X and also many Linux OS , we would like to see what Microsoft changes from them.While Windows 10 will be available in end of 2015 , Apple would have shown its next OS . As the price point is not revealed , we hope they make it a free upgrade to Windows 8 users.
As the leaked was mostly correct , we would have love to see the notifications bar and also the continutiy feature of Apple Mac OS but Windows making it run with Windows p While for developers it would be quite easy as they just need to tweak the settings and have an app for the whole windows line.While we are not sure that the tablets would run like the desktop OS but phones are definitely no no. We are going to share most major upgrades and news , but till that time lets hope windows makes it quite better
