AMAZON ECHO

Amazon Echo a new device from Amazon , that listens to you. When Amazon announced the Echo after seeing the black cylindrical box,  the first pop "What is this and what does it do ??".
The cylindrical black tower is an audio system which is connected to the web and responds to you.Amazon Echo is purely built as an home device , which will help you get all things. It streams music from the Amazon’s Prime Music library, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and play local music collections. With the integrated Bluetooth, the Echo can play music streamed from local devices.
     Breaktrough voice recognition

Amazon Echo can be thought of as a "Cortana in a black tower " or any personal assistant only this one's not latched on to your phone.Amazon Echo can respond to only two words one being "Amazon" and the other "Alexa" . Well calling it Amazon feels awkward as you speak it every time in the room but "Alexa "seems okay may be after some software updates you can call it whatever name you want. The ring of light is good as it adapts whenever you activate it.Setting up the Echo was quite easy as all you need is in the packaged box , Once plugged in  it sets up via the browser or the Echo App.

WHAT WHAT TO DO WITH IT ??
What is Amazon Echo
Well Amazon Echo has lots to do , first of it recognizes you. You can speak to Echo from any where in the room you want. The Echo is extremely good at voice recognition as it can even listen while playing music from the speakers.

HARDWARE
Specs and Dimensions
The Amazon Echo is a metal cylinder, half of which is perforated to let the audio out. It sounds pretty good for such a small device given the 2-inch tweeter, 2.5-inch woofer, and the reflex port designed to play deep sounds. . It is 9.25 inches tall.

The top of the cylinder is a volume ring for physically turning it up and down. The Echo uses far-field technology for listening to requests, aided by seven-microphone array in the top. There is a blue light ring on the top to signal when the Echo is waiting for spoken commands. The light briefly flashes to indicate the Echo understood the spoken command and is executing it.
There are two buttons on top of the Echo, one to manually activate the microphone for input and the other an "action" button. The action can be used to turn off an alarm or  timer, and to wake the device.
Those who prefer not to speak to it , Echo ships with a small remote with media player controls.

SHOULD YOU BUY IT ?

Well isn't this the obvious question we face  whenever something new comes up .Well it is quite tricky as the people who will use it will see this as a good buy otherwise it will be just sitting around.

The Echo makes  a good base level audio system , even if you think of use it as an music player. After some  time you really get relied on it  , to get all your information. It works like a friend after you come from outside just makes you happy by playing your favorite library of music. The more the Echo will evolve it will be as a companion to you. We hope Amazon backs it up and gets even better.
The Echo for  $199 is not bad, but if you’re an Amazon Prime member, the $99 price is a no-brainier.
