LG G Watch R : A serious competitor to Moto 360
LG came out with the first Android Wear smart watches in the market. But the smart watch trend is rather on a decline since it first came out.Neither the G watch nor the Gear 2 have been able to succeed in the market. After Motorola released it's Moto 360 there's quite an impatience in the audience to feel the the experience of the watch. Now it seems LG is also heading the same direction as they have released a teaser .Meet the LG G Watch R
The G Watch R features a display of 1.3-inch Plastic OLED panel that takes up 100% of the watch's round face. LG promises that it's view-able in the sunlight and clear from any angle, and the plastic also comes with some durability benefits ,it works in up to a meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The screen rests in a stainless steel frame, and comes with an interchangeable leather strap. This devices still gives us more classical look of an analog than the Moto 360.
It's powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and 512MB of RAM, plus 4GB of internal storage. It has a heart-rate monitor, plus a handful of health and fitness apps that should make the G Watch R a little more useful as a fitness tracker. This specifications are quite enough as of now as the rate of growth of smart watches.Although it comes with Android Wear which means it will get all the Google-Now experience. You'll get notifications, easy access to notes and calendar and directions, and more. And as the Android Wear market is growing constantly , it will be no problem for the devices to function at their best.
The LG G Watch R is a well made and designed product for the user.Still we expect that people will accept smart watches as an important aspect. The G Watch R is coming at IFA 2014 and
just after Motorola's launch of 360.Though this is becoming the trend , we hope that the new round design takes of and we see enormous growth in this category.
