LG G3 : The Most Anticipated SmarthPhone of 2014 !!

The LG G3

lg_g3_global_launch.jpg

Okay just a post back I told you it will be coming soon .Did not think it would be so soon to put a glimpse of this Amazing smartphone. The LG G3 the most anticipated ,hyped and the most jaw dropping announcements that this phone has would set it's competitors far behind of it.
So the Flagship series of the LG company as we love to call it the G's  and it's third installment is here finally. So lets see the whole phone and yes well talk about the specs in the end .So lets see it's outer body and then inside body.

THE LG DESIGN :

Well what to tell about it?, seeing it for the first caused a mix feelings. The  curved edges are taken from the famous Nexus 5 and some what like the One Plus One  ,but  slightly compact then the  One Plus One . But a thing is that LG has reduced the bezel size to  a lot extinct like nearly the touchscreen and the edges meet and looks amazing .The curved back which is just 2.75mm at its thinnest and the edges, 8.9mm at its fattest does have a  metallic finish.

LG describes it as "metallic skin," and it's anti-scratch, but is not got self-healing feature like on the G Flex. The colors that the consumers get is a variety like metallic black, silk white, shine gold, moon violet and burgundy red . The G3 does feel much more pleasant to the hand than the G2 and has got a smooth feeling to it and also the company tells us there will be lesser fingerprint marks . LG says the material was designed to look and feel like metal, but not be as cold. Either way, the G3 still feels nice, and remarkably doesn't feel as big as the spec sheet tells us it is, until you directly compare it to a smaller phone.

The Famous Back Button :

Ohh and the most famous index button/rear button these are the very same buttons were one of the stand-out design features on the preccedors . The G3 has some improvements in  the center button lays much flatter, and protrudes less than on the G2. This feels  more comfortable fit when in the hand or resting on the table, especially given the phone's size.

 lg_g3_global_launch_back.jpg

The Camera :

The Camera it supports is a 13 mega-pixel camera that has been tweaked and modified by LG to make the consumers happy. The camera interface has been pared right back, It's almost empty; just tap the screen and it'll take a picture.. The camera has a few other tricks too, such as gesture controls that solve one of the biggest problems faced by the selfie-taker. Hold the phone at arm's length and instead of fumbling for the shutter button, you can just get your hand in view, make a fist and it'll countdown from three to one before taking a picture.

The Secondary camera or as LG names it the Selfie-Camera is of 2.0 mega-pixel unit and has got some major improvements . It has increased the amount of light it soaks up, and a low f-stop for the same reason (f/2.0 for those that like to know). It is more powerful and as the trend is going on seems like an obvious  choice .

UNDER THE HOOD :

Lets see how powerful this beast is?? It supports  a 5.5-inch display, again Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display(Really Quad QHD is like the ultimate and does it unnecessary increase the cost of the product?Looking where the support for this is?). It's heart is a  Snapdragon 801 chip clocked at 2.5GHz plus 2GB of RAM to serve you up Android KitKat, along with 16GB of storage. There's also a 32GB variant . Other hardware highlights include a removable (3,000mAh) battery, wireless charging and SD card support.  And yes, again, as rumored there's the (infrared) laser auto focus.

IS THIS THE NEXT LG G???

IS THIS THE NEXT LG G??

The most anticipated , the flagship of South Korean giant LG is making rumors and leaks day after day as the anticipation grows higher and higher.  LG G3 smartphone that is rumored to be  launched on May 27 this year. The Korean tech firm right before the launch of the G3 has unveiled four teaser videos showing different features of the handset. The company also shown the specs on its official website sometime ago.
A trio of LG G3 teaser videos, all in Korean and with duration of 15 seconds, were showcased on LG's dedicated G3 launch event page. The flag-ship's stunning metallic design, camera feature and the awesome display quality were showcased in the teaser videos and a lot more.
 lg_g3_silver_brushed_design_youtube_official_screenshot.jpg

The first video:

It is  dealing with G3's camera, seems to most probably confirm optical image stabilisation, the most recently  rumoured laser autofocus system, and low-light feature which is the key. It is  leaked to have a  13-megapixel rear sensor .

 LG G3: The best 'grip-ability:

LG also showed-off its ultra-thin bezels and the 'grip-ability' of the LG G3 in a separately released video. The video, titled as "LG G3: The best 'grip-ability'", compared a regular 5- and 5.2-inch smartphone's screen bezels to that of G3's. The firm claims to change the whole idea of holding a bulky and broad smartphone with 5.5-inch screen.
LG's official  website showed the specs and some quite unusual spec that the micro-SD supported 2TB SD card quite freaking right!!
Other specifications on the list include Android 4.4 KitKat; quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.46GHz, 5.5-inch QHD screen; 13-megapixel rear camera; 16GB inbuilt storage, and 3000mAh battery ;USB 2.0; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth 4.0; NFC; A-GPS, and Glonass.
The LG G3, is also leaked that  is expected to arrive in two variants. While the first variant would be  a cheaper version that would flaunt a plastic build , and the second would be a premium build  with a  metal design .
lg_g3_dummy_white_plastic_bottom_front_gsmarena_leak.jpg

lg_g3_dummy_white_plastic_top_back_gsmarena_leak.jpg
The images reconfirm the G3's redesigned back buttons and ultra-thin bezels. While the USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and a microphone are placed at the bottom, the top side is seen with another microphone and what looks like a stylus on the side. The LG G3 stylus has been also seen before in a leak earlier this month.
While most of the recent LG G3 leaks seem to match all teasers from LG so far, we won't have to wait long to find out the real deal as the smartphone's launch is just a day away.

THE LEAKED VIDEOS :

The second video flaunts the LG G3's brushed silver metal design that the firm had previously teased on video earlier this month.

The third video needs no explanation as it clearly shows the inclusion of a QHD resolution display. To recall, the 5.5-inch QHD display was also confirmed by LG last month

SURFACE PRO 3 : CAN THIS REPLACE YOUR LAPTOP??

MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 3

Surface Pro 3 Tablet

Microsoft had a small Surface gathering in New York City on May 20 , we thought that the rumors of a smaller-screened Surface Mini was in order. Instead, surprising us all  the company just announced a larger Surface, by a whooping screen size of  12-inch calling it Surface Pro 3. Like the previous Surface Pro, it supports pen input, making it a good choice for creative professionals, especially with that pixel-dense 2,160 x 1,440 screen. In addition to being the biggest, highest-res Surface yet, though, it's also the thinnest-ever product. The thing measures just 9.1mm (0.36 inch) thick, putting it on par with more of category  to an Ultrabook than a tablet.

The Surface Pro 3 is relatively lightweight, at 800g (1.76 pounds). While, the Surface Pro 3 is still heavy next to an iPad Air or Samsung Galaxy TNo, this is,ab. But the Surface Pro was never supposed to compete with those kinds of tablets anyway. The third-gen model has a new kickstand on the back that allows the screen to sit at a near-flat angle of 150 degrees , which gives a whole lot of perfota  to the Surface . The new Type Cover keyboard  has been improved as well -- especially with regard to the touchpad, which is bigger, more precise and now has a built-in button as well .
As for the  pen, it's said to weigh about the same as a normal, ink-based pen. What's especially neat is that you can unlock the Surface just by clicking the button at the top -- even if the device is turned off, you can click the pen and the tablet will wake up, allowing you to access Microsoft's OneNote app from the lock screen. Also, thanks to OneNote, you can send your notes to the cloud as soon as you start writing.

The Surface Pro 3 starts at $799 with a Core i3 processor, with CPU options of course going all the way up to i7. Storage will range from 64GB to 512GB.

Q?? : Will this Surface Replace your Ultrabook and create a new category??

WILL THIS HELP HTC ???

HTC ONE M8 : MINI

A while ago HTC announced its mini version of it's flagship smartphone HTC One M8 and no surprises what the name the HTC One M8 Mini2 .As it was an expected device and its beneficial for the consumers as well as the company as it will help to capitalize the momentum of M8 as we have seen with the previous flagships of HTC.
HTC One Mini 2 is here, and yes, its 4.5-inch display makes it significantly easier to hold in one hand, and it's certainly going to be more affordable and is direct in competition with the Z1 compact by Sony . But this size-reduced handset is fundamentally different to the M8 in other ways too, especially on the inside. That's why HTC has deliberately avoided calling it the "M8 Mini " .
 HTC BoomSound™: Amplify Everything
The One Mini 2 is aesthetically very similar to its larger sibling, which is a good thing, but internally it has been downgraded in every major department as possible .It has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip which is equipped with  1GB of RAM and 16GB of  internal storage instead of Snapdragon 801 in the M8. On the other hand, those upgrading from HTC One Mini might seem some improvement in performance and as well as other departments.

HTC Zoe™: Your Gallery Brought to Life
The One Mini 2 also drops the M8's secondary depth camera and Ultrapixel sensor in favor of a more bog-standard, 13-megapixel but said that it is a decent camera in the competition of its level. But one aspect that the HTC is mastered is the design ,the One Mini 2 also feels as a premium product with it's metal design as well as the curved edges a product well built as the ONE M8 .The Phone comes with a 720p display which is fairly enough and also comes with a good pixel density. The phone also supports  microSD  (phew!) as well as front-facing BoomSound speakers that provide audio quality you simply wouldn't expect from a phone of this size. A healthy 5MP front-facing camera will take care of your selfies using HTC's well-designed camera app and of course you're also going to get the same friendly, useful Sense 6 skin on top of Android  .

Expected to see the HTC One Mini 2 go onto the shelves anytime soon as it comes with three color options as the M8 (gunmetal gray, glacial silver and amber gold). Said that the HTC One Mini 2 might be able to speed up the sales for the company.

UNI8 : IS This THE LG's Wimdows Phone Handset

LG'S WINDOWS VERSION : UNI8

Embedded image permalink

Microsoft in its build conference revealed some OEM partners along which LG ,Huawei , Lenovo and ZTE although LG has worked with Microsoft before and also released some Windows 7 handsets and the company  is looking to come back to this market.

Although Windows has not been as successful as it's competitors  in the phone business and did not get the push with win7 but as the Windows Phone 8 release and the Nokia partnering got it a new direction as well as reception in the market. Now with WP 8.1 the company is getting serious about the mobility world.
The LG phone was leaked by the  twitter user evLeaks is known for its accuratetips related to unreleased smartphones, has posted a render of a large screen Windows Phone 8.1 handset, with the monicker LG Uni8.                                                   The phone featured in the image has very thin bezel and sports virtual and looks about a 5+ inch screen it is seen that it has on-screen navigation keys very  similar to the Nokia Lumia 630. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 as evident from the background wallpaper and on-screen keys. Looks it might have a front camera  , but not sure of that.

MOTOROLA launches it's LOW COST SMARTPHONE

MOTO E

Buy Moto E
It was a huge success when the Moto G , the company's most successful phone in the company's arsenal .The Motorola's have come back with a bang in a much lower price segment. The Moto E was launched today at an event at London. The Moto E successor to the successful Moto G , is a fantastic product. The Moto E at a price range of $129 (Rs 6999) is one of the top product in the price range. The Moto G last year had broke all the benchmarks of the budget smartphone category.

Buy Moto E
The Moto E  has slightly weaker specs than that of the G, with a 4.3-inch screen size qHD  is far adequate size  The display is a  960 x 540 display covered by Gorilla Glass 3 and an anti-smudge coating to provide better screen quality as well as better protection. The Moto E get's it's power from 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which is supported by 1GB of RAM.It has 4GB of internal storage with a microSD slot for extending the memory .The Moto E juices on a  1,980mAh battery which should last a day as the company promotes on mixed usage and lastly for your amazing moments a 5-megapixel main camera, but with no flash(are you kidding me).
Oh almost forgot comes with a dual Sim support as well.

Buy Moto E
The company is touting durability as one of the phone's key attributes. Its body is covered with water-resistant coating in addition to the Gorilla Glass front panel. In Moto E you'll be able to customize the handset with a number of different rear shells of varying colors and textures. It'll run (almost stock) Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and Motorola has committed to at least one major update cycle which is now becoming the company's strategy(habit) to encourage customers. Motorola's also crafted a few apps to launch alongside the Moto E with a focus on location sharing, including "Location Status" which sends a message to a nominated person when you leave or arrive a particular destination, and "Meet me/Follow me" which helps you to track down a friend in a crowd. Most importantly, the Moto E is launching today in India at onile retailer flipkart at Rs 6999 and then  later in the  week for an unlocked price of $129 in the US and £89 in the UK.

Buy Moto E
A tad shorter than the the G, due to its smaller 4.3-inch display, but more or less a ringer otherwise. The same clean, tight design logic can be seen in the E, including the curved back cover and plain face sans any kind of soft key. Not as plain as we might've liked, though, as the large and lurid speaker grilles on the front of the device don't quite seem to fit among the relative simplicity of the rest of the phone. It's nice and light but with that sturdy, robust build quality that betrays its price point.

Motorola called out the Galaxy S4 for being slower than the E in basic metrics like time to return to the homescreen from within an app. It's obviously not as capable as the S4 in terms of raw power, but if we've learnt anything from the Moto G, it's that Motorola knows how to get the best of mediocre components.

ONEPLUS ONE : REVIEW

ONEPLUS ONE : Never Settle!!

First look at your phone and then look at this masterpiece. This company has just started and look what it produces. The OnePlus is a Chinese company setup  some years ago and this flagship device is catching up all the buzz around the town. The OnePlus One is just a flawless device which has put up the design sector to all new bar.Just look at anybody will just be in love. But that is not all it packs all the power and features of all the flagship phones out there.Oh and it sells for only $299 unlocked and free of contract, which is even less than the Nexus 5.Seems a little over-ambitious for small startup with no official track record?. So let's look at what it has got.

HARDWARE:

First of all it does not look like a $299 phone. It's arched back , polycarbonate build ,elegant chassis and top-of-line specs. could easily say that it some high-end phone of some famous company and can be easily fool someone into thinking it is a $600 phone. OnePlus has an easy way of operating as Google did with it's Nexus line to have minimum profits but keep the price tag low.

The One  sports a 5.5 inch display and is 1.7mm taller and 0.6mm thicker. OnePlus One was as pleasant an experience as you're going to get with any phone larger than 5.3 inches. It features an arched back, which makes it rest more naturally in the  hands, and its blunt edges give the fingers plenty of room to rest comfortably. One's 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD panel has a pixel density of 401 ppi.But given the fact that the display is not such crisp or sharper than it's competitors, but at this high level of ppi you cannot make out the difference.the colors are natural, making them more satisfying to stare. If it bothers you so much the firmware allows you to change the settings as per the user-requirement.

It features a slab of Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance, which should help for those chance encounters with keys, pens and other similar objects. There's a 5-megapixel front-facing camera near the top next to the earpiece and sensors, and you'll also find a set of three capacitive buttons at the bottom, which can be turned off in favor of virtual soft keys.A volume rocker and micro-SIM slot line the left side of the One, while a power button adorns the right. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, and you'll find twin speaker grilles flanking a micro-USB port on the bottom. But does not come with a microSD slot that's a great disappointment so as the content dat is growing the only option is to go for the 64 GB version.

The gently curved back is minimal, featuring a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, noise-canceling mic and logos for OnePlus .The back cover is interchangeable, which gives you the ability to customize .OnePlus couldn't realistically pack every possible feature that now exists into its perfect phone -- especially at such a low price -- so if you want something with wireless charging, a microSD slot, waterproof design, aluminum build or a removable battery, this may not be the perfect phone for you.

SOFTWARE :

It's quite unique that we dont speak of software as all the majority have the android versions on them ,So why is this different it is a android phone but a custom rom in it .Yes as the company has tied with the Cynagenmod ; a custom rom .This phone comes officially with their latest build 11S, based on Android 4.4.2 directly baked in.

So to give you a quick brief on Cyangenmod let's start.Hold up. What exactly is CyanogenMod? It's custom firmware based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and gives the user more freedom to fiddle around with settings, icons, themes and... well, nearly every aspect of the Android experience. Cyanogen's one of the most popular pieces of third-party firmware in the Android universe and can be installed a wide variety of devices, but the experience is even better on the One because it was built into the phone

The One lets you use gestures to activate different parts of the phone. Oddly, this is one of the few parts of the OS that isn't customizable. A double-tap wakes the device; a V motion activates the LED flashlight; two fingers up/down will turn on your music; and a circular gesture gets you straight into the camera.Lastly, the One's best features: always-listening voice recognition, thanks to Qualcomm. CM throws in a few modifications of its own to add more customization. After the phone learns your voice, you can say "OK Google Now" "OK OnePlus" to activate Google Now or any app of your choice.

CAMERA :

The OnePlus One  uses a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony sensor, six-element lens setup and f/2.0 aperture for lower-light shots. Additionally, the front-facing camera tops out at 5MP -- a sizable improvement over the 1.3https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=2407731165013580392#editor/target=post;postID=2421729901450458771-megapixel sensor on the N5.The camera app is a special flavor made by the CyanogenMod team. It consists of three circular buttons on the side for taking stills, video and panoramic shots. Along the top sits some settings, scenes and a toggle for the front-facing camera. In addition to HDR, night mode, landscape and a few other standard options, the One has less-traditional scenes like snow, sunset, party and theatre. These may offer some fun ways to experiment with your camera
When it comes to performance, the camera  is decent, but hardly stellar. Colors appear more natural but they're still slightly less saturated than they should be.But said that it lacks in camera performance as it's been compared to the flagship phones of the HTC and  Nokia series. But is somewhat better than the Nexus.

Video recording here is solid, with up to 4K resolution and a bit rate of 20 Mbps. You can also film in 60 fps slow motion at 1080p and 120 fps at 720p The front mics seemed to be more powerful and is quite troublesome as the subject you want to capture cannot be heared  as good as the one with the phone. The sound is really a let down in this department otherwise the quality is good and has a good framerate.

PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY LIFE :

The phone sports a 2.45GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC), a 578MHz Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM.So all seems butterly smooth but is it?? The gaming experience is still slightly sluggish with the occasional frame skip, but it's not very noticeable unless you're paying close attention.CyanogenMod's firmware gives you the option to change your performance profile to one of three modes, ranging from power conservation to battery sucker.

The Call quality of the device is not good , the mics become soft and the sound is more troublesome to the ears . But One has made up to with by telling it will release an  update for it.
Battery life, at least, is a bright spot. The One has a 3,100mAh non-removable cell that's just a tad smaller than the battery inside the Note 3. What's more, it's actually larger than what you'll find in the GS5 and One M8. On most days, It made it to the end of the evening with around 5-10 percent life remaining.

THE WORD :

It doesn't make sense that the OnePlus One should be this inexpensive. It looks elegant, feels solid and performs smoothly, and it doesn't show any signs that it's a first-generation product from an unknown company.
Told that we would really like water-proof (or even water-resistant) feature and a wireless charging , NFC.But expect said all this it's a $299 phone what do you expect??.Saying that the One is already increased the benchmark of  a low end device can have such great specs. All the Specs are given below.
The OnePlus One is not as perfect as it should be? but which phone is??.A few missing features? Sure, no problem. What matters is that it's perfect for you, and it fits all of your needs.

THE Q? :

Will the OnePlus One be a starting of Low Price High Specs beginning??.

PAPER FOLD

PAPERFOLD :A device with multiple forms

The Paper Fold was unvieled at the ACM CHI 2014 conference in Toronto.Scientist have developed what they called the worlds first foldable smart-phone which can change into tablet and notebook using screens and for support hinges.

The device uses  three electrophoretic displays which provides extra screen real estate when needed and also allows users to change shape whenever needed.Displays are detachable such that the users have various forms  and shapes ranging from an ultra-portable laptop to a foldout map.

"In PaperFold each display tile can act independently or as a part of system. It allows multiple device form factors, providing support for mobile task that require large screen real estate or keyboards on demand, while retaining ultra-compact,ultra-portable and lightweight  form factors" said Dr Vertegaal , a professor in school of Computing and director of Human Media Lab at Queens University , Canada.

PaperFold automatically recognises it's shape and changes its required graphics to provide better functionality.Typically mobile devices require scrolling and zooming in order to see different parts of a document whereas paper can be folded , detached  or combined allowing itt to acces multiple forms. So this is why the name and that how it's designed for better forms of reading and lesser problems.

Still in development stage to make the product more user friendly but looks like this is the way ahead as today we are having smartphones , tablets as well as notebooks why not make it  one device which is something like this.Hope this goes beyond our dreams.

ACERs NEW SERIES

THE ACER SERIES

Acer this week revelead a couple of laptops.Saying that this company will not be out of the competition as many companies are shifting their focus to mobiles and tablets ,but the company has rolled up their sleeves as they head for the big product. These new devices come in the form of
Acer Aspire Switch 10 , the Acer Aspire U5 , the Acer C720P and the Acer Aspire E11.

ACER ASPIRE SWITCH 10 :

It is a convertible laptop  meaning it has the ability to have a laptop form as well as tablet form factor. This can be done by just disconnecting the display out of the keyboard and using it as a tablet. Now an interesting thing it also can be attached to the keyboard in reverse manner to make the keyboard dock into a kickstand of sorts. The device runs on an Intel Atom quad-core processor with a 2GB  of RAM, a 64GB SSD (500Gb mechanical HDD is optional ) and a 10 inch HD display.

ACER ASPIRE U5 :

Now this product is an all-in-one desktop system. This comes with a 20-inch Full HD display and comes with a LayFlat design, which means that that the display can be lied down flat , thus making it into a different experience .It will have a fourth-gen Intel core Processor with Nvidia Geforce GPUs
Then it is the C720P which is Acer's Chromebook device. The Chasis of 720P is same as it's predecessor but will  be getting a bump into it's performance via a Core i3 , but will be same otherwise.

ACER ASPIRE E11 :

The Acer Aspie E11 will come out in  variety of sizes ranging from 11-inch to 15-inches, and also users can choose between Hd or FULL HD Displays. The Series will be powered by  either Intel Pentium (DUhh!!) or Celeron (BIG FDuhhh!!) processors , it sports a tiny profile with a fanless cooling design    , having juice up to 7 hours and has some gorgeous colors.

The Acer Aspire E11 series will start at $299 and is expected to made available in June. .As for the Acer Aspire Switch 10, it will be priced at $379 and will go on in May, whicle Acer U5 will be for $999.
