HP SPECTRE 13 x2
HP's latest 2-in-1 detachable hybrid breaks some new ground:It's a notebook PC with a high resolution 13.3 inch screen. You can pull off it's keyboard ,Once separated it becomes a thin and light tablet.
The spectrum x2's dark,matte-gray and brushed-aluminum case, minimal buttons , and gently rounded edges lend this convertible a quite elegance look.It will slip into any bag and built tough enough to survive the rigors of handling.
The Spectre 13x2 is a true 2-in-1,delivering both notebook and tablet functionality in one device.
The Spectre x2 delivers a tablet which is bigger than an iPad and it runs all the same software as any windows PC.It is basically built for the consumers and small businesses, but it does not have the high-end services like fingerprint reader or remote-management options.
With a 13.3 inch screen,the Spectre 13 x2 makes a big tablet and it's also a heavy at 2.2 pounds.
Hands on
The screen sometimes responds very nimbly to the touch of the fingers;at other times it went maddeningly numb. The keyboard provided adequate tactile feedback. But when the typing speed as well as force increases, they keyboard starts clattering loudly. But when it comes to Spectre as a tablet? The spacious touchscreen, with a resolution of 1920 by1080 pixels, delivers a crisp , sharp images with rich color, but it's highly reflective. As it's a bulky tablet and the panel is also heavy after a few minutes it's troublesome for the fingers

The Word:
In my view the 2-in-1 as large as Hp Spectre 13x2 fall short of the goal of delivering the tablet and notebook experience in a single device. It's bulky and does not deliver the performance or functionality of either the tablet or notebook. The Spectre does not have a good battery life, as well as it get's too hot when you are taking it all out on the processor. And then there's the value proposition to consider.Surjob e, you can save $300 or more buying a 2-in-1 instead of a notebook and a tablet. But it neither gives you the benefit of a tablet or a notebook. And the best part ,If you ever leave the keyboard dock separately ,then you would have to shell out for the whole system. As far as 2-in-1 goes HP has to do a little better as well as the technology has to grow. The concept is still raw and has to find a place in the market
Q : IS IT THE PROPER TIME TO INVEST IN HYBRID FORM FACTOR?
